What are your rules/limits for screen time?

We limit our six year old daughter’s screen time to about one hour a day (of course there are exceptions!). She can play a game on the iPad or she can choose a few PVR’d tv shows to make up the hour. We PVR her favourite shows.
I find that it cuts down on the begging and also limiting teaches her to make choices. Picked a silly show – oops!
We do watch movies together as a family on the weekends on occasion but try to do other things together as well.
For us it’s everything in moderation. I can totally appreciate that YMMV depending upon how many kids you have, their temperaments, etc.!
Just when you think they can’t stand each other…they need to be beside each other, kids are weird!! I say don’t fight it. It is a different generation and our kids definitly need to understand it and be able to use it. Limits are good, and are a personal decision. You know your kids best! (and they are adorable)!!
at least they’re together in teh picture…they could be on opposite sides of the house?
