I purchased a whiteboard and some dry erase markers to help Eva practice her letters. Unbeknownst to me, she already knew them all. This was done completely on her own.
And yes, I’m kind of bragging a little bit.

Love it!
If you want another fun thing for her to try with it, get her to start singing the alphabet song backwards. (I’ll send you the lyrics if you want -the scan is a bit different, but I did it with the Nursery School & the Kindergarten and they had a blast!)

I am this weird mom who celebrates the backwards letters. That “Z” makes my heart sing.

Oh it’s on sister…I’ll need to get Marley spelling:) Seriously though, I am trying to go to the gym for Waldemar swim season. I think Marley is going to be a teen mum because my “nana” butt is really trying to express itself. I guess when you have your kid after 35 the nana butt just comes right after. No grace period.
I remember when Marley went to her eye exams last year at SIck Kids. I asked them to use the symbols not letters. THen, Marley informed me she knew them already! And she did. Nice surprise. Hooray Eva! Auntie Kelly LOVES white boards. Most impressed with the “G”.
You know I going to buy one tomorrow, right. Tip on pencil grasp. Big pet peeve of mine(for seven year olds NOT four year olds). Marley prefers the spear method currently. Anyway, pinch the tip between the thumb and index finger with the hand you like to write with. USe the other arm to flip it onto the soft part of your hand and viola – perfect grip! I just learned it from our Kindie teacher.
