Here at the urbanmoms.ca Marketplace, it’s our mission to bring you stories of great Canadian mom-based businesses. This week, we’re thrilled to bring you Ina’s story:
Smicko’z bib smocks were designed by a tired and frustrated Mom, trying to keep her toddler clean. After my daughter would no longer wear bibs, I was desperate for a way to keep her clothes clean – enough ruinous stains! So I created the Smicko – with a tie accross the back instead of around the neck, so little hands can’t get at it.
Offered in a variety of stunning prints for boys and girls, they are easily machine washed and dried. Great for eating, cooking, and crafting, Smicko’z are useful for every messy thing a toddler can do. For ages 16 months to 5 years, the tie accross the back will keep expanding with growing tykes. Do you own or run a Canadian mom-based business? Do you know someone who does? We’re always looking for great new stories to share in the Marketplace. If you have a story to share, please send a short (200-300) word submission along with jpeg images of your product, yourself or your logo to marketplace@urbanmoms.ca.
