don’t you ever feel…

May 5, 2011 by Nancy

…like a little kid in an adult world

with a fancy kitchen
kitchen.jpg
and all the latest appliances
and a glistening stove top.jpg
and dress up clothes
suzie homemaker.jpg
and your own wheels
fun bike.jpg
and offspring, no less
babies.jpg
and a pervasive worry that one day there will be someone knocking at your door with serious papers  and a man in a trenchcoat  with a file on you that proves without reasonable doubt

that are just not fit to be a grown up and your jig will be up.
come on tell the truth-
don’t you ever feel this way?

I do. I so totally do. Especially when I’m twirling around in a tutu in the middle of the afternoon…

Oh Nancy, almost every day! I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve looked around my home and at my children and thought, “whaddya mean, I’m in charge??”
