I am a sucker for a good van.
Shortly after the birth of our third child we outgrew our former vehicle and tired of ramming all three kids in the same back seat where they were within arms’ reach to claw each other’s eyeballs out and scream bloody murder.
We bit the bullet and got a used minivan and I have loved it ever since. So when our family was given the opportunity to test drive a brand new Dodge Grand Caravan for the month of September, we jumped at the chance.
This candy-apple red gem of a van is going to help ease us through the crazy month of September, with the back-to-school busyness, the carting around of kids to new activities, and all the other things that go along with being a busy family with two working parents and a gaggle of children to tend to.
My first impressions of the Grand Caravan are good. There are some really great features like a built-in GPS and satellite radio, power sliding doors, a button you can push to make the trunk close, and it handles well on the road.
I’ll be writing a post a week about our month with the Dodge Grand Caravan, how it helps us make it through September. Stay tuned!

Way to make a minivan look cool, Amanda! 🙂
We bought a new vehicle a few weeks ago too. We upgraded to something with that 3rd row of seats and we love all the extra space and features it offers. Heated leather seats will be my BFF this winter. 🙂

I find September and the transition to back to school and back to activities absolutely insane! I am not a minivan driver but this vehicle would sure help with carpooling and carting everything (hockey equipment!) back and forth. Looking forward to hearing what you think.
