I love to be creative. Whether it’s home decorating (at which I am still, admittedly a rank beginner), knitting, photography (again, I’m a complete neophyte), scrapbooking, card making or even just doodling while on the phone, I love to just make pretty things!
Recently I’ve started to appreciate just how much technology can help me satisfy my creative urge: I’ve made some really fun projects using iMovie on my Mac, I’ve had hours of fun goofing around with Photoshop and I’m getting ready to try my hand at digital scrapbooking, too. But I’ve also discovered that one of the key elements required for good results with digital crafting is an excellent printer.
Being a Mac user for the last decade has forced me to address the printer angle from a different perspective. Things have changed now, but ten years ago (when I got my first iMac)
you couldn’t just walk into Staples or Future Shop and buy any old printer…many of them just wouldn’t work with Mac’s operating system. I found this out the hard way when I bought a fancy HP 3 in 1, brought it home, unpacked it, hooked it up and…nothing. A scooter is the transition between a Motorcycle and a lighter street legal which is less than 50 CC, required no license or insurance. They are per say street legal, cannot be driven in highways and their speed will not aceed 35 to 40 miles.

love scrapbooking it is a creative way to express myself and create memories with my 2 yr old, 1 yr old and nb when they help………. well the 2 yr old ad 1 yr old help the new born doesnt really do to much….think of what we could do with a nice printer like that….
I have a problem with putting my creative ideas in motion. I have to many things I want to try and then I overwhelm myself with all the ideas I have and don’t know which one to try first. I really want to start putting together my sons’ babybooks. I have literally 100’s of pictures and scrapbook supplies and just don’t know where to start!
I love to paint but last week I purchased adressmaker sewing machine so me and my daughter could make some dog clothses together.The only problem with this brilliant idea is that I can’t figure out how to thread the machine.the top is good but it has a bob in the bottom and I have no idea what to do so I have spent two weekends trying to get this threaded then eventually I went back to paint as I was just getting stressed with the sewing.
i have many different outlets for my creativity, but i guess i love to scrapbook the best. I love to create beautiful albums for my families photos that i hope will be enjoyed for many generations to come!
I combine 2 things : hiking and photography. Also using photoshop to enhance my pictures, and a new printer would fit in nicely with that part of the creativity!
I love to bake for my family. I try to bake nutritious but tasty muffins and cakes.
I love to knit (beginner of course!) and scrapbook!! I would love to say that I too love to cook, but I’d be lying…LOL…that’s my hubby’s area of expertise 🙂 I’m the artsy one of the family 🙂
agree kath….the artisan is so cool….my main creative outlet is painting and drawing. Wish I had the luxury of more time to do these things. Enjoy doing crafts with my kids to teach them the joy of being creative and expressing yourself artistically.
Oh Kath…v. cool projects you can do with the Artisan. As a creative outlook my fav thing to do is paint and draw. I find I don’t have luxury of time as I used to do this. Love doing crafts with my kids to show them how joyful it is to make something yourself and to express yourself.

I love to bake, cook and do all type of crafts with my children. We even have creative play days with my childrens friends. The kids and adults always have fun.
I love to bake ..but i really love doing all kinds of crafts .. i do needle point , crochet , knitting , felt crafts , jewelry making ,gag jokes and love scraping booking .i make things all year round ..then in the summer i sale them at my yardsale . what i really like to do is make my own cards ..for my friends and family ..but i can’t afford a good printer to do my cards . so i just have to wait and see if some day i could come up with one .

Humm….I love to express myself by partaking in weird activites with my children. We have gone winter camping, slept in a igloo, planning to either do white river rafting or sky diving for their 16th birthday. I love just doing stuff, the cheaper the better and the more laughs we share , the more heart warming. We always spend way to much time doing work stuff and never fun stuff.
With partaking in all these activities, I have tried hard to take moments from the fun and put them into paper memories for them to enjoy for their lives and their children lives.
Never stop dreaming, never stop doing….whoever is watching probably wishes they could do the same thing.
A couple years ago when I had my first baby, I felt I needed to do something for me and something to work on creatively. So I took up sewing. So far, I love sewing handbags. But about to branch out again. With baby #2 here, I’m starting to quilt a blanket for my daughters bed (in my spare time).
I love to bake (and of course taste test!!). But recently I have rediscovered how much I enjoy sewing (still mostly straight lines!!) and made shopping bags and tote bags for my Aunts and cousins for Christmas as well as aprons. I always make my daughter a new pair of pjs for Christmas. This year, I made swim/gym strip bags for goodie bags and instead of the candy/toys usually found in the end of birthday parting gifts, we did a book exchange. The kids loved it. I enjoy sewing as I feel a great sense of accomplishment. Both in the creation and the knowledge (if it is a bag) that I am helping take one more plastic bag out of use.
Since becoming a stay at home mom, I’ve started knitting again. After 20 years of not having much creative time, I have found knitting to be the perfect hobby and in the end, I (or someone in my family) have a great item to wear!
I love cross stitching.It may take me a few years to finish a piece but then i frame it and its a beatiful piece of art.I have done them for family as gives and nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing them hang in someone home.Its a quiet peaceful realing hobbiy that can keep me busy for hours!
I knit knit knit, my daughters take great advantage of this. I also sew when I get a chance, and I try to look upon cooking as an art – I try at least one new recipe a week
I like to do stain glass. I am not really very artistic in the drawing or photographic sense, but I can do stain glass (gotta love patterns). Stain glass combines art and technical know how (ie. soldering gun and flux). The end product is attractive (usually) and useful. For me this helps me ‘fix’ my creative side.
My passion is my kitchen. I love to entertain and create a meal that satisfies the recipients. I’ll start days ahead searching out ideas, printing off recipes and making grocery lists !
In addition to the christmas ornaments I mentioned before, I love to bake and cook. I was serioulsy thinking of taking one of the Cake decorating courses offered at Michaels. I have always wanted to know how to decorate like a professional and if things actually look good, I could possibly open a business on the side as there are no bakeries in my neighbourhood except for the local grocery store. I have to travel pretty far to get a customized cake made, so this would be a wonderful learning and business opportunity for me.
I love crafts and painting totes and shirts. I find it is fun to be creative and is great bonding time with my girls.
I like to take pictures… I’m no photographer but I love being behind the camera and capturing a moment in time, an expression, a memory.
Sometimes I’ll hide around the house with a camera and jump out to take a picture (those are my favourites) when no one is expecting it… I find its a great way to catch a real feeling and those pictures are always the funniest to look back on.
I’ve tried creating scrapbooks but it just doesn’t seem to be my thing – I usually print all the pictures out and save them in a photo box. Every once in a while I’ll scatter them out on the coffee table after dinner and my family will go through them and we’ll try and remember what we were doing or thinking at the moment that the picture was taken.
I also make notes behind the pictures taken on vacations or during special occasions and spend a lot of time making photo albums and collages out of them as keepsakes.
I love to create a new recipe when I feel creative. I just choose ingredients that I love and come up with an amazing new dish. I love the printer.
Thank you for the review, that is one sweet looking printer. I am currently in the market for a new printer, and will definitely keep this in mind. As a fellow Mac user, I certainly understand the frustration of shopping for peripherals. It’s better than it used to be, but even now so many printers that are supposed to be Mac compatible only partially work on the Mac. I didn’t know that Epson was recommended for Mac. I’ve had terrible luck with HP and Lexmark in the past.
My creative outlet is quilting, although I’m slow and not very talented.
I just love taking all sorts of pics of my youngest granddaughter who’s now 20 months old and then creating a movie with music, out of those pics that tell a story showing how she has progressed from month to month. The printer I currently have is on its last legs so I would love to win this so I can continue to take pics of my adorable granddaughter and the next thing I would like to do is a collage.

My creative outlet is entering fab contests like this some to surprise the loved one in my life because she would never believe I had the gull to buy this printer.
My husband and I own a cattle ranch, and that has taken time away from my ‘crafts’! I have done quilting, counted cross stitch (my fav), needle-point, crochet, and my most creative craft has been making willow furniture. I bought a VHS tape and self taught myself on building chairs and benches. I always pour over magazines on differant crafts to get into. I haven’t done scrapbooking, but have a starter kit….which I haven’t been able to get to. I take pictures of our calves each year and would love to put them in a album with a splash of creativity!
I enjoy building things – I am very handy and have built a shed and finished my entire basement and built a home theatre.

I love to write poetry. Now in my 50s and have been writing since I was in grade school. I would love to win the printer for my 16 year old son. He loves photography and would surely put the printer to good use!
I am one of those people who is always looking for a new creative challenge. I love to cook, make appliqued children’s clothing with matching accessories like little hats for boys and purses or totes and barrettes for girls. A few years ago I started cutting out wood with my Rotozip and decorative painting it, and more recently I have started scrapbooking. I don’t have a printer of my own, so I have to email links to a friend to print things for me. I would be so excited to win this printer and I think he would even be happier to not have to do my printing!

My creative outlet…depends on what i can get my hands on…this summer i finished the walls in my garage and built shelves….( the kids tried to help too), re-land scapped the yard….(it really needed it), paint the drive way with chalk with the kids….paint the kids with colored soap….we bake when it gets cold..(but for the life of me i can never get a pie crust right), and just since November a friend introduced me to card making……now i have a new addiction and the kids get to cut paper with all the fancy scissors.
My biggest creative outlet is music. I teach and/or perform at least 3 days a week, and wouldn’t be the same person without music in my life. Next would come my scrapbooking and card-making obsession… 🙂
I am a crafter at heart. I love to do embroidery, knitting, crocheting, anything crafty and would love to find the time to do scrapbooking but it’s just finding the time. This printer would be a great help in scrapbooking by being able to print my pics at home. I love anything crafty!
My latest creative thing to do is “natural letter” photography. It is amazing how many letters you can find in nature. Whether it is an “X” in a wooden fence or the “Y” of a tree limb, the letters are everywhere. I then print them out to form names or words. There are frames available all the way from two picture slots to seven which was difficult to find to spell “Rebekah”. I find myself wandering around in a daze looking for letters, but everyone I have given them to loves them.
I love painting and doing beadwork. It’s so much fun to shut off from the world for a little while and just lose myself in something creative. Don’t know what I’d do without it!
my creative outlet is baking cookies and wrapping them up to give as gifts to my friends and family. It makes me feel good to bake them and even better to give them away to loved ones!

I love to do crafts with my girls….the bonus of having girls 🙂 and am an avid scrapbooker with a printer way behind the times. I try to keep everything organized on my computer with software to manage my pictures but when it comes time to print them out I am stuck with an old Lexmark inkjet printer. The quality is just not enough to warrant printing them off and putting them in my girls precious memory scrapbooks. I really need my pictures to look as great as the scrapbook pages they will be placed in. Would love to get this Epson printer.
My creative outlet is the piano. I recently bought a piano for my daughter’s lessons and have rediscovered my love of playing.
It definitely would be nice to have a nice photo type printer plus it’s fast usually these are slow. Baking is what how I express myself. Looking, planning and deciding are as much fun as the final product.

I have been doing crafts and baking with my mom and my aunt for as long as I can remember. I do cards, knitting, just learning to crochet, baking, planning fun birthday parties…now my 4 yr old daughter is obsessed too!

I have two fav. outlets..first is baking especially fancy muffins and cupcakes..the second, now that I have children, is to make homemade cards with them…sometimes it is a challange, because I try to “help” but overall everyone loves a homemade card from a 5, 4 and 13 month old!
Time is the problem when tapping into my creative energies and believe me with the prehistoric system of reproducing pictures, invites, thank you’s, a modern bit of technology will have me multiplying my creativity while saving time, thank you Epson!
Before I had kids, I really liked making homemade paper. It is great, because I have basically no artistic talent, but it almost always turns out looking good. Hopefully, when my kids get a little older, I can pick it back up. I used to spend countless hours separating parts of flowers and plants to dry and use. Now I like to take pics and videos, but have never had the printer to do anything with them.
I would love to spend my days taking taking photos and getting creative with a great printer and some imagination!
I love anything that allows me to be creative. I scrapbook every other weekend with a group of friends which is a wonderful way to spend a Saturday evening, helps to when you are having trouble figuring out a layout too as you get a little more input. I love to bake and decorate cakes, I love photography but am still in the learner stage here, I paint with acrylics during the summer out at the cottage, crochet and do various other seasonal crafts
Before kids I used to cook and bake nearly anything, also cross-stitch. Now, I find myself collecting scrapbooking paraphernalia to do those all-important baby books, and photo albums, but so far, it’s just a huge pile of accessories! ;-(

The only creative thing I do is scrapbook and make cards. It’s so much fun, because I always have my best friends with me when I do it.
I’m afraid that my urge to be creative is often stifled by the need to do housework and play with my little boy. But luckily he is getting to be just old enough that we can start crafting together….we made Christmas cards this year! Other than that, I scrapbook and would love to take a professional photography class. It would be fabulous to have this fantastic printer to print all the fantastic photographs that I take!

To unleash my creative side, I like to cook and create new dishes from an existing recipe. I try to add or swap an ingredient or two to make it healthier. I find by being creative with my cooking, my family will benefit from the healthy ingredients but not the taste.
I like to knit and crochet. I also like to make my own holliday decorations and cards. With Valentines day coming up I have some great plans for home made valentines 🙂
I love to craft anything – quilting/sewing, knit/crochetting, papercrafting (including scrapbook and cards) and photography. I even like to make my own soap. It changes month by month as to the craft of choice. Right now I am crochetting a shopping bag. By no means am I a master of any of these crafts but I like to do them all.
I love taking pictures and then creating stories to go along with what is happening in the photo. For example – we have eagles living not far from my house – we took a glorious shot of one flying and the sky was a beautiful blue speckled with grey clouds. The sun was streaming through the clouds and created rays of yellow that were just magical.
It was that magical thought that had me & my children come up with a story of a young lad that could change himself into an eagle and have wonderful adventures- saving other animals, stopping people from polluting his favorite stream…etc. Then we’d take photos of areas that looked like the scenes from our stories and put them in a “book”…glorious fun and now that they are older, it’s funny to see the looks on their faces when I pull out our “book.
I do needlepoint, cook and bake but I have had a new craft lately. A few weeks ago I started doing Mossaic! It is so much fun and you can do so much with it! You should give it a try!

I find that I am most creative when I am at the stove with what seem to be impossible ingredients – a bit of spice and imagination and I end up with a masterpiece!
I love traditional rug hooking! I just started about 6 months ago and it’s taken awhile to get used to the wool and hook and using burlap but I’m getting there!
I like to cook….cook everything my mind can dream up!

I like to fix things usually by taking them apart etc. I dunno why but it feels good to know it works again by my hands. I also enjoy painting but haven’t done so in ages.Taking pictures is another creative outlet for me.

I love to take pictures. I’ve been a film diehard for the longest time until my husband brought me into the digital age a few christmases ago with a new digital camera. I have since become a convert and I am having a great time capturing candids and perfecting portraits.

I’m a baker! My most extravagent venture was a crocumbouche (sp?). Home made cream puffs, filled with whipped cream and stacked into a tower shape; then drizzled with home made caramel and sprinkled with icing sugar! It was a big hit!
I also like to do freehand drawing; its sort of a geometric design, but I’ve done it since I was a kid and have had many people ask me if I sell my drawings, but they just end up on my fridge or in drawers lol

I’ve always been into crafts. I learned to crochet from my Baba; I made a lot of really long, really tight chains! Now crocheting and knitting are great ways to keep from snacking at night…anyone need another afghan?
I have the opportunity to take craft projects to the Caribbean islands while we minister to the ladies of the village on StVincent Island. They are so appreciative of the unique and different articles that they would make. To print with colour or black and white is very special to take and easy to cut and fashion a craft after we arrive from Ontario
my daughter and i love to use this machine called a cutter bug and we make crafts and scrapbook and make home made gift cards , birthdays etc, it is soo much fun and the time flies by , great stress reliever
I have found that the older I get the more patient and calm I have become which has greatly increased my competence levels in the arts and baking areas.
I absolutely love to find delicious cookie and treat recipes to try out on my sweet tooth husband. I also enjoy scrapbooking and card making. I am actually going to be starting a new business specializing in custom wedding invitations so this prize would be put to very good use in my home.

I do genealogy, and love to make decorative family trees for my family
I’ve been artistic in one form or another my entire life… As a child, I would draw with pencil or charcoal or paint with oils and watercolours. I then progressed to the artistic and creativity involved in computer and website programming (yes, it is intensely artistic). I love to make digital scrapbooks, websites and blogs for family and friends. I also taught myself how to crochet and knit a few years ago. Through all my different artistic interests, what has stuck is photography and baking. I find a lot of calm and ease in baking, while photography allows me to often express those things I leave unsaid. Would love to win this! Thank you!

Being creative. Well in rural Nova Scotia baking, knitting, crochetting are the norm (at least it was when I was growing up), so I do all those things, but the thing I absolutely love to do is stained glass. Unfortunately with todays busy life, I don’t get to spend as much time as I’d like too. Bring on retirement!
We love to bake – we get everyone in the family together and will have baking marathons to share with our family and friends. The girls love decorating all the goodies to add their personal touches!

I’ve always been a creative person. As a child I enjoyed arts and crafts, studying piano, writing music and poetry, and other pursuits. Today my favourite creative outlet is writing. Whether it’s a silly poem, a letter to the editor of a newspaper or simply my “post-mortem” comments about a special event I’ve just attended, there’s nothing more thrilling for me than the written word. It’s a permanent record of my observations, feelings and ideas. It’s more than just a creative outlet; sometimes it’s completely therapeutic, especially after a hard day!
When the mood is right, I love to bake. Not much of an original scrapbooker, but love to put albums together of my kids for lasting memories. How much ever digital we get, nothing like sitting back and opening that album/scrapbook and relish the memories.
hello, when I want to relax I love to bake. I am most creative when I am taking photographs. It is a true passion to “create” the picture and have it really work out in the photograph itself, compared to how I imagined it in my head.
I love baking and scrapbooking. My daughter is starting to scrapbook with me. We can spend hours doing it.
Cooking is definitely my passion. I cook when I’m bored, when I’m happy, when I’m sad. It dosen’t seem to make a difference what mood I’m in. I find satisfaction from the finished results especially when it brings joy to someone else.
My creativity is expressed through baking. I love looking for new recipes to try out.
My creativity come out through home decorating. I love looking at home decorating magazines & books for decorating ideas and inspiration. I take ideas I see and modify them to add my own personal touch and put my stamp on them. I love re-purposing items/objects and using them in a way other than what they were originally intended for.
I like to bake for my family and make meals that I see on T.V., but add my own touches to them. I also like to make crossstitching for birthdays with the persons interests in mind like horses, fishing etc, then have them framed. It makes a wonderful memory for the person that recieves it.
I spend alot of time walking with my dog through the forest with a camera in hand, although still an amateur I get alot of great shots.
I love to do cakes,and one of the things you can with them is make an editable picture… this would be wonderful!
I like folkart and love to paint on wood, glass, stones and even paper
I have recently taken up photography…I take my DSLR camera with me everywhere I go and spend countless hours takig photos of anything and everything…I can get completely lost in the moment…this is my way to relax, and this photo printer would help me in my new endeavor!
I have a few creative outlets. In the past I did découpage using photos, calendar pictures and pressed flowers. Now I concentrate on photography. I also like to be creative in the kitchen, making up my own recipes.
I paint in watercolors whenever I have free time. It is very relaxing and I enjoy the composition as much as the painting.
Recently, because of being off of work for maternity leave, I have discovered my love of writing again! I have recently written a short childrens’ story which has a bit of my own families’ story in it and I love it! I hope I have found the creative outlet I have always been looking for, and who knows maybe a new career 🙂
I like to do etchings on aluminum (mostly of animals), and woodworking – I design it, cut it out, and then paint it, and I paint on other objects – walls, poles, rocks, baskets, anything! a

My creative impulses get a workout with seasonal decorating, like at Christmas, Hallowe’en, Easter Bunny stuff – you know, just about every season needs something different and I love changing it out. I also cross-stitch a lot of things, needlepoint, and knit a bit. I even groom my dogs so I guess maybe I get a bit creative there too – but no dying them pink 🙂 And hopefully I’m a little creative in baking and making meals.

I love to sew, just seeing a peice of clothing slowly taking shape is very rewarding.
My Two young children and I, we are currently working on our precious Family Memories: “Whimsical scrapbooks”. To give them away to Grandparents, Godparents and faraway aunts and uncles. We have to make about 8 of them. So we are quite behind on all of these projects.

I have many outlets for my many creative urges. I scrapbook, make cards, sew, do needlework, and have done crochet. I also cook, I find it very satisfying to make a beautiful meal that always seems to stray from the recipe. It has to have my stamp on it! It seems that anything that results in a “finished product” fulfills this creative need for me.

My daughter and I are starting a scrapbook and its not as easy as I thought it would be. This printer would help a lot with our project. A must have!!!
This may sound wierd, but I re-organize when I want to be creative. I am a very organized person and my family is not. When I want to be creative I buy new baskets and pens and containers. I am not a good painter or knitter so this is creative for me. Also when I am being creative organizing the family stays clear for fear I will make them organize the stuff they have.
To satistfy my creative urges I do a lot of crafts with my kids. I really like using their fingerprints, footprints, and photos to make keepsakes. We have made little animals from inking their fingerprints, moose from their footprints, and turkeys from handprints. I print their pictures and make them into magnets, cards, and other gifts for family. We also scrapbook together. They love making scrapbook pages! Unfortunately I can’t draw or paint and have never been artistic in that way, I can make a mean lemon meringue pie. My artistic thing is singing, love to sing and when I could I used to do a lot of karaoke. Singing is good for the soul.

When I’m in a creative mood, I like to pull out a clippings file that I keep. It’s full of photos and articles of gorgeous gardens and outdoor rooms and is inspiration for me when I’m snowed in and imagining my dream garden. I have simple garden design software that I use to come up with a new layout, new plants, new furniture – the whole ball of wax. I pick a theme – rose garden, Moroccan, Sonoran desert, whatever – and go to town, transforming every aspect of my small backyard. Someday I hope to switch careers and be able to design landscapes for a living. Until then, I can dream!

But above all of them nothing satisfies my creative imagination by writing short stories/fan fiction/poetry. I just find it very fun and relaxes me.
Also I will create background graphics for my friends with paintshop pro. I spend hours editing and retouching photos and making different copies with very different styles too see which is better.
To relax and be creative I re-organize my rather extensive book collection.
I love being creative. I love to sew, crochet, and scrapbook. My most creative passion is glass etching. My etching includes mirrors, stemware, photoframes, hurricane lamps. I love to design my own stencils, but I do use pre-made ones too. I feel it is a relaxing, most enjoyable hobby for me.
this would make my life a little easier, I have 2 boys , work part time outside of the house and do before and after school care….cook , clean , and then there is the hobby….photos and scrapbooking…where this would make my life easier. Instead of waiting in a line at the photo kyos, I could enjoy a coffee and watch my epson printer do all of the wonderful work it does. I have tons of creative outlets, and picking a favourite is HARD! Writing is my lifelong passion, but I love making wine, cooking and sewing too!
I enjoy sewing. I started to sew clothes in my teens but as we all know time, which we never have was always the big factor. I have now started it’s my time and have been trying to get back to sewing and learning quilting techniques and working on small projects for now. Another pastime is knitting (always the basic small projects) but hopefully will learn more and master a sweater or something down the road. It’s relaxing time for me and a great way to wind down.
I like to sing my heart out in the car – but only when I’m by myself. I’m sure people see me and think I’m nuts, but it’s a great creative outlet and stress reliever.
I cook…. When I am in a creative mood I will take it out in my cooking. I will start with something and start adding from the pantry. I have made some amazing suppers this way. Fortunately I haven’t had too many failures….but then again my kids used to eat almost anything. I always feel a great sense of accomplishment when I can throw things together and have them coming out tasting…..not too bad.
When it comes to creating documents (i.e. recipes), I tend to be a perfectionist and will create many versions before I am satisfied. Having a printer that automatically double sides would save soooo much paper.
I’m actually into a couple of things – I love to scrapbook – wish I had more time to do it. I’ve also started knitting – easy stuff like scarves and blankets. And I make tied fleece baby blankets. But I have the most fun colouring with my daughter.
I love scrapbooking and my daughters are starting to do it with me.
My outlet is Acting… I didn’t start until I was 26. I was the most painfully shy kid you ever met, so much so they thought I might be slow in Kindergarten because I wouldn’t talk. I was actually quite smart I was just THAT shy.
FFWD 20+ years and I have found my voice and it was on the stage the whole time!
I can be anybody, it’s freeing and exhilirating.
I have also just started a blog to use that voice again in another way.

I enjoy making personal and original gifts. I have done coasters, scrapbooks and ceramics. It’s fun and usually reduces my gift budget.
What a cool printer! I love to bake, crochet, and scrapbook. Scrapbooking is my main outlet for creativity. I love to create beautiful things!
I love being creative! I make my own cards, printing them up from my computer. I love giving personalized cards that have photos of my kids in them and family loves receiving them. I have made t-shirt transfer prints on my computer many times – my kids love having unique tees. I also dabble in jewellery making and baking, especially for school functions – can never make enough of those rolled sandwiches which are always a hit. But my biggest creative thrill is making things with my daughter. She has a lot of Webkinz and loves to make beds for them out of shoeboxes. She decorates the box with all sorts of crafty items from Michaels (love, love, love that store!) and I will sew blankets and pillows using fabric remnants. We seem to go through a lot of batting, lol! Once my son starts school, I hope to get back into my knitting and cross-stitching. There is just something satisfying about making things by hand.
I just got into making neat birthday cakes for my kids. My mom used to let us choose any thing we wanted and then would create beautiful cakes for us as kids- it was very special and memorable. I wanted to share the same experience with my little ones. Needless to say, my first attempts were quite “elementary” looking to say the least! Slowly I am getting better, learning a lot, and having fun! By the time my 3 musketeers are old enough to remember, I hope to have a cake to be proud of! As a scrapbooker. the Artisan 810 would be the perfect tool to document my progress!

I love to make beaded Christmas ornaments with my girls. We started doing this when they were very little and painted some ceramic ones and made clothespin reindeers. Some of the ceramic ones have broken overtime, so I decided to go with the beaded ornaments instead. Our whole tree is decorated with homemade ornaments and looks absolutely stunning when the colored lights reflect off of them.
I also went through a period of using the silk flowers to make decorative hats for doors, wreaths, etc., and have dabbled in making jewellery.
I also own a macbook, and didn’t realize that some printers were not compatible. Thanks for letting me know that, now if I can figure out how to use all of the mac’s features, things may actually get produced. My printer is slowly dying on me so winning a new one would be fabulous.
Hi I love losing it in my knitting since my granddaughter was born I have been creating a variety of hats sweaters ponchos even socks love it especially with all the new colors out now

I am a knitter. I started about seven years ago and now I am obsessed. I knit everyday. I used to do counted cross stitch, but you eventually run out of wall space, and framing is expensive. Once I started knitting I haven’t touched my counted cross stitch.
I love to keep my hands busy! I like to crochet, bake, write poetry, make jewellery, and make collages. I love photography too.
I also like making bath necessities like bath salts and soap. I’ve also been known to make a lavender eye pillow or two.

I received an original Bondi Blue iMac when they first came out as a Christmas present from my husband. I had been using Macs at work so I wasn’t new to the Apple experience, but my oh my, that new computer opened a world of possibilities for me!
My crafting includes paper crafts, jewelry making, and making tile coasters. My husband and I are getting ready too open a home-made soap company as well (his hobby) and so I’ve been designing websites and logos and all the other necessities for a successful business. This printer would definitely come in handy!

I am a scrapbooker and it is a great creative outlet for me. I started it when I had my first son and needed an excuse to get out of the house. Now I just love it –and it is still a great way to get away from my now 2 sons : )

Losing It! How do I lose IT!
Through trial and error I have become more creative and artistic making my own cards . . . have not purchased one since 2000. Included in these cards are poems, rhymes (sometimes NOT) that I come up with. The Dollar Store has also become somewhat of a haven for purchasing stickers and relative adhesive accents.
My most prized work has become a yearly JOURNAL for my Grandson – since 2003 and my Granddaughter – since 2006. I document important dinners, events such as soccer games, dance classes, first steps, first skates, first lost tooth, birthdays, holidays, school projects, a day at the Zoo, family get-together’s, etc., with attached photos that are relevant to the event. The last journal had 62 pages, which I then laminate and bind – finished product – Memories in a Book!
I also make gift tags, bookmarks, table seating cards, special holiday crafts, photos and through the Journals am trying to make them more into scrap booking.

I knit and crochet. I also cross stitch. I’ve done tolepainting in the past and am thinking of starting scrapbooking.
I am obsessed with the blog I’ve been keeping since my daughter was born. It accomplishes so many things: it gives me a creative outlet and a sense of accomplishment on days when I find it hard to point to something real I’ve achieved; helps me organize our photos and videos; and allows us to share our adventures with our family and friends (it’s password-protected). Sometimes my daughter (2 years, eight months) and son (eight months) and I look at it all together, ‘tho I think I’m its biggest fan.
I luv the tote bags with the pictures on it,would luv to make those for my sister and her family. My creativity would be putting pictures and video to music that’s about it.

I have always enjoyed art- painting, drawing, sculpting, crafting, you name the medium, our kitchen counter has seen it. Over the years I have kept all of my girls’ unique creations either in frames, in keepsake boxes or in scarpbooks. What I have come to discover it that I cannot bear to throw these tiny fragments that capture snapshots of their evolution in creative expression. I am so grateful for modern technology of scanning. Now I can keep EVERYTHING that is lovingly made, by scanning it. That frees up space for the ‘ever specials’ I cannot bear to throw away! I have made xmas cards, postcards, awesome artwork…the list is endless! And my budding artists (one of which is actually in Art school) are almost as proud as I am of their masterpieces!

My daughter’s and myself have taken an interest in scrapbooking over the last few years and really enjoy this. We made all our Christmas cards this year by scrapbooking and many of our card receivers commented on how they liked the cards so it is a very fun and enjoyable hobby for us!

My creative outlet includes photography, especially out doors, nature photography. We had an early model Epson digital camera in 1996 so we’ve been digital for some time. it was only until the multiple mego pixal cameras came out have we been satisfied with the results.

I’ve always told my kids that everyone has creativity whether it be in painting (like me!), writing, even in math and science. Creativity is our inspiration come to reality. Being creative is to look at anything and see beyond the surface. Creativity is what comes from within. And what is wonderful to experience is others appreciating and enjoying some of my artwork!
Over the years I have tried different things. I especially enjoyed doing ceramics. I had a great teacher and did some very good pieces that I still value today.

I have scrapbooks with memories of my dad, mom and grandparents who are gone now. I love looking at them over and over. I also take a lot of pictures of my garden, family and any day trips I take. I have sooo many photo albums, I am running out of room.

I love making cards! I take a class once a month and then get together with girlfriends to make cards once a month and about twice a month the dayhome kids and I make cards together. Love it! When the kids are drawing pictures, I’m mapping out new cards to make.

I love to plant and maintain flowers and strawberry plants in my backyard. The fresh air and working with your hands is very fulfilling and relaxing.
I satisfy my creative urges many ways. I write poetry, I crochet, I paint, often using mixed media because mere paint doesn’t suffice when I am really in a mood 🙂 Gardening is the creative outlet that really gives me the most joy though, there is so much involved, the preparation of the soil, choosing the plants, the colours, which textures I want together or at what level. The waiting and patience that gardening has taught me and added so much creative peace into my life. Being free to explore my senses is the best creative outlet I know 😀
p.s. forgot to say i made 101 cards in the last three weeks to get myself started… cant send em out though because i keep forgetting to get ink to print out promo material!!
Im an avid craft a holic!
since my son was born in 05 i learned knitting, crochet, scrapbooking, cardmaking, cross stitching, needle felting and jewelry making. Ive tried my hand at quilling without much love and had a mad rush of puzzles for two years but had to try and stop because i ran out of places to hang them. Many a time ive told myself that im gonna take this pile of mittens, necklaces, felt stuffies, scarves or whatever and get a table at a craft show but i never got around to it so THIS YEAR ive decided to start a card making business… my only promise to myself is to make a sale by summer but learning to market myself while running my home and job have certainly kept me busy…
so busy that after i scrap booked my printer out 5 months ago i haven’t had time to refill it. Its injet anyway so i never want to use it for anything special!!!
I’m a creative person, but not a very talented when it comes to craftiness. So when I need an outlet I re-purpose found objects I find at the local used shops. Just this weekend I found an 60’s vintage floor length dress and took it up to the knee. Now it’s modern and sassy but still a well made 60’s dress. Earlier I found plain curtains and added some ribbon accents to make them look more custom. You don’t have to be talented to be satisfied those creative cravings.

I just recently started Scrapbooking.. I love it. I think I may try digital scapbooking too since I do have a lot of photos on my computer
I love to take photos and I’ve just started making simple digital scrapbooks on shutterfly and through mac. I would love to try my hand with more versatile software. I also love making movies with imovie (I use it for home and my classroom). I also love to cook and bake. Naturally all these hobbies have taken a backseat to my young twins but I’m starting to have more time now and would love to have the Epsom for some of the digital scrapbooking yet to come.
aaahhh creativity seems to be the last thing I do….as in throw together last minute birthday invites, throw together last minute dinner parties, throw together stuff in room after room in my 1/2 decorated house…maybe a printer like that would help me get more creative (and organized)!!!
I make cards for all of our friends and family for birthdays and anniversaries throughout the year. It works out to be about 100 a year and I find it’s a great way to stay in touch…I’m terrible at picking up the phone. I do scrapbook, but it has been a long time since I pulled it out. I cross stitch Christmas ornaments and really should get started on the ones for 2010 🙂
Baking fulfills my need to be creative. I am always looking for new recipes and there are lots out there on recipe sites. So I can satisfy all my baking requirements. The computer has opened up a whole world of tasty delights.
To satisfy the creative impulses baking is definitely number one… but I love to do scrap booking too. Unfortunately the scrap books haven’t been out in a while. I am behind a few years.
I love embroidery. My grandmother showed me how to embroider years ago and I would love to teach my daughter how to do it. It is very hard to find the linen. It makes beautiful runners, doilies, and pillow cases.
I am a scrapbooker, and love to find creative ways to display photos, and often give those as gifts. I would LOVE a new printer that can print excellent quality photos, but also keep up with the demands of a home office. Sounds like this Epson would be great!
