Earlier today I wrote here how I don’t watch much tv anymore. And I don’t. But I am watching Survivor still – Wednesday’s (Survivor/Criminal Minds/LAUNDRY) are my tv night.
You may want to pop by my desk on Thursday because you’ll see my jaw still on the floor from what I saw last night. Let’s put aside that the ‘potentially’ (UMM – YES IT WAS) dumbest move in Survivor history happened last night. The men won immunity and then gave it to the women because they couldn’t wait another few days to kick someone out of their tribe.
But it was the tribal council that has me sitting here banging on my keyboard. How in godsname did these team of ‘men’ not just turn out and blindside Colton out of this game. How is this arrogant, racist, offensive guy leading around this team of ‘men’ by the nose? I just don’t understand! Watch this clip here to get an idea. This is after he made countless little person remarks directed at Lief, Survivor’s first little person contestant. He also disparaged blind people if you want to get the whole thing. I’m trying to think of a group of people that he DIDN’T offend last night. Frankly, since Colton is a gay man, his actions I’m sure offended most people in GLBQT community just due to association!
Look Survivor – I know it’s about ratings but this year you have assembled the biggest group of – I’ll say it – idiots that I have ever seen.
Did you guys watch it? What do you think?? Has Survivor just gone too far this time?

i pvr’d this so im only getting to this now! i’m a month late 🙂 i’m glad colton is out. what a hateful, insecure person! i don’t believe in god but i’m hoping his appendicitis was a sign from god telling him to shape up! and, is it me or is kat really sheltered? she was hoping she wouldn’t catch appendicitis! now all my comments are irrelevant 🙂
As I said last night – the whole thing made me very uncomfortable.
The housekeeper thing? OMG – my stomach turned.
I don’t think I’ll be watching anymore. I wasn’t 100% committed this season and this was what I needed to free up an hour every Wednesday.
Colton is an awful person and a bigot, and I am very much looking forward to him leaving the game…preferably by a cannon.
I have taped and now I don’t know wheter to waste my time or not::))
