BRIT BRIT PREPARING FOR COMEBACK
Looks like Brit’s getting ready for the BIGGO COMEBACKO! Here she is (in some sort of BIZARRE getup), straight after leaving rehab, battling the photogs to get into the Millennium Dance Studio, in L.A. (you know, the one that Blake from So You Think You Can Dance and DanceLife dances at). Shortly thereafter she went to the tanning salon:
Now, I am NOT a fake tanning advocate at all (because I’m, like, fluorescent white, and I embrace it, aiight? just think Nicole Kidman), but Brit’s looking très pasty for her. And, she loves the tanning bed. So, go girl. Apparently, she also went to the salon to check out some hair samples for extensions — to go in as soon as her stubble grows long enough to support them. But, the scoop is that she had to run out the back door of the salon before she chose her sample because the crowd of tourists and paps that developed outside was INSANITY! Looking forward to that comeback. I hear Justin Timberlake is on board. Niiiiice.

Lindsay Lohan and James Blunt! You heard it here first, Gorgeouses! They went to "Teddy’s" on Wednesday night together, and left together — for Lindsay’s place…at which they stayed for a WAY long time (like…5am!!!).

ANNA NICOLE SMITH DIED OF AN OVERDOSE
So, the results are in: Anna Nicole died of an overdose of chloral-hydrate — a sleep medication. She also had serious blood poisoning as a result of using an unsterilized needle. Apparently, if the drug hadn’t taken her, the blood poisoning would have. Sad.

BROOKE: ON BEING A SAHM
Here’s what Brooke Shields says in the new issue of LIFE:
24/7 with the kids? I don’t know how people do it. If my main job
was just to be with the two of them, I would not be as effective. I
would be short-tempered; I would be less appreciative. Some people just
revel in it, and that’s beautiful. I revel in a different way.
I think she just rubs me the wrong way in general. I guess what she’s saying isn’t so bad. I just find it smug. And, what’s she doing when someone else is taking care of her kids? Shopping? Hanging with Tom Cruise?
I can’t put my finger on exactly why this bugs me. Maybe you guys can help me. Maybe it’s because I’m a SAHM, and I don’t have the luxury of getting help, and because it is hard and I do revel in it — but it is hard. It’s not easy and all beautiful all the time. I guess what bugs me is that this isn’t a black-and-white thing like she (kind of ignorantly) makes it seem. Either you revel in it or you don’t? She’s not exactly "working" and can afford good help, so, of course, she’d rather not stay home…. Maybe this is pregnancy hormones, or me needing an extra set of hands right now. Not sure. This just bugs me. ‘Nuff said.
Kay, my morning sickness has returned full swing this weekend. Getting through this post has been…erm…challenging. Whatevs, I’m so dunzo right now. To bed must go!

I agree that Brooke’s comments seem way to smug and condescending somehow. At least she is being honest, I mean how phony would she look if she tried to say she WISHED she could stay home…since she can! It is not like she is volunteering with the sick or something when she is not at home, she is filming a pilot for September right now.
Have you tried the Sea Band bracelet things you can get at the drugstore or the candied ginger from the health food section? I have friends who tried both, I didn’t try either as I heard about them after the fact, but they both swear by these. I too was sick (literally) with Papoosie Girl with Rosebud it was just lots of nausia (sp?). I also have friends who tried the prescription drugs, I was never a fan of that though.
Hopefully it subsides soon.

TUGGY — OMIGOSH, I totally know it’s not for everyone. And, I trust that Brooke’s children are VERY HAPPY with the arrangements she’s made for them. I’m not at all saying that everyone should be a SAHM. I’m just saying that being a SAHM isn’t all roses and reveling and beauty, like she’s indirectly saying to an audience of people who don’t live her lifestyle.
I don’t know…I’m glad Brooke’s saying it. At least she’s honest. Not everyone can be a SAHM. Those that do (& I did it until the divorce) are so AWESOME…but it’s not for everyone. I think (my OSHO) she’s just being honest. Look at her PPD….that sticks with some people…..in a little bit of way. Her kids are probably a lot happier, too, and THAT’S what matters.
Reese is gorgeous, Linds, Brit, Jess……EH. Whatever.

Ok to me Brit looks prego in the first pic, could these pics be a ploy to make her look norm? Maybe not, but man, poor girl I think she is suffering from PPD and hasn’t got any real friends to count on.

Ok anyone who is outside normal mommydom can’t comment on what it is really like being a SAHM, watching the bank account as it again empties out in the grocery line and having your hair done is a big event, now that is the only type of person that can comment and have any weight on SAHMing it. JMHO

I cannot help but feel sorry for Brit – she needs to maybe re-connect with some old/not famous friends and be real for awhile. I honestly don’t mind the blue eyes either.
I think Anna Nicole’s death was tragic, I wish I could take that little girl & give her a “normal” upbringing. It makes me sick to think about how her life may turn out with all these weirdos claiming to be her father.

girl you have been fooled- Lindsay is actually hanging out with Paris’s old beau Stravos. Those two do like to piss each other off. Britney – the last thing she needs is a comeback she will just be torn down again she needs to live ” normal” for awhile if that is possible. I kindda like jess with John he may teach her to be less superficial and grow up a bit, your right he does have a huge head and always looks like he needs a bath. I love his music though. and poor Anna I don’t think anyone doubted it was drug related, however they do state it was an unintentional overdose. sad.
