Tip of the YEAR: Don’t fry bacon in a pan and have the grease splatter all over your stove-top and apron…bake it in the oven. Line a deep pan with foil or parchment paper, then bake the strips at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes. It comes out perfectly crispy, and with none of the mess.

You’re welcome.
My George Foreman grill is my secret weapon against bacon mess but, this looks like a good option too!
I discovered baking bacon just recently and it’s the only way I’ll cook it now. I put mine on a wire rack and place the rack over a cookie sheet, the bacon turns out crispy and melt in my mouth everytime!!!! (and not a lot of grease ). My five yr old always hated bacon until I started making it this way.
Love this tip!!! Thanks Amanda.
can i just say (and i am a pampered chef consultant so i am biased!) that the PC stones are great for this as well. it’s soooooooo nice to be able to do bacon without the “hot grease dance”!
Ooooh. Who knew?
Mmmm… bacon…
