This Adventure - Laura.jpg

I guess the most important thing I want to say is that being a McDonald’s mom is not something I take lightly. This experience was not about being a spokesperson for McDonald’s. This is already a multimillion dollar corporation. They certainly didn’t need me for that. They very seriously did this to involve moms that showed an interest in the health and well being of their children.

I used this experience to find out information about things that I was curious about or was seeking answers for. It really was an experience of a lifetime to me that I still take very seriously. I can only hope that other moms check out all the info we have discovered and use it to their advantage. The more we know as parents the better off we are to help inform our children into making more informed healthy choices in the future. I knew going into this that the menu isn’t all perfectly healthy. Of course common sense would tell you that eating Big Macs three times a day all week isn’t the healthiest choice to make. All I wanted to investigate are the options they give to parents who are busy working and running a household.

This adventure proved to me that McDonald’s is constantly adapting to offer fast food choices that are healthier than just a burger and fries. By offering a variety of salads and low cal dressings as well as offering the choice of side salads instead of fries with a Happy Meal is awesome. At least now if and when I do need to eat out at a fast food place because of a hectic schedule I now know that there really are other options for me to choose for my kids that are healthier.
