In January I started boot camp. My baby was four months old, I was a hot mess and none of my pants fit. The classes were challenging, and getting up at 6 am after I had been up a dozen times with a hungry infant was tough, but I kept at it, kept on squatting, kept on lunging, kept on sweating.
Here’s what can happen in five months of BUSTING YOUR ASS:
I am so pleased with the results, and the biggest change for me has been that I have become Someone Who Exercises. I initially viewed the boot camp as something I would do only until I could fit into my jeans again, but I realize that this is something I want to keep doing for the rest of my life. (That’s a huge change for a lazy, frappuccino-drinking sloth like myself who had never found an exercise she liked enough to stick with it.)
I have lost 16 pounds and 22 inches since January, and I am still going. I want to lose another ten pounds (OK, fine, 15) but it might take me another half-year to get there. I am doing it right, taking my time, and feeling great.
You look FABULOUS!!!!!! You don’t look like you have anything left to lose – you look perfect girl!
Is it wrong that I just totally choked up?! You are a seriously strong woman, I admire your spirit, strength and determination – plus you always make the classes more fun!
WOW!! Way to go!
Woo-hoo! I don’t know what is better, the 16 pounds or the new love for exercise! You go girl. So proud of you.
Inspirational!
Yay! So proud of you for sticking to your commitment and reaching your goals.
And I just love how you are reaching for food in the first picture. 😉

You look great! Very inspiring, esp as I look forward to make the trek back to getting in shape post baby.
Wow- I am so inspired and motivated! My little guy is almost 4 months old, and I gained 65 lbs with pregnancy… still need to lose 35. You make me think I can do it! Did you change your eating a lot? Any tips on that?

I started the 6 am almost 5 years ago and I love it.
Way to go
BRAVO, woman!! I’m so pleased for you lady!! Woooooot-woooooot!! Never, ever stop…! xox
Awesome work! Are you also doing WW (or any form of diet modification), or is this solely from working out?
wowza!! you look INCREDIBLE!! look at your abs!! you. are. my. inspiration. amazing! wow. HAWT-NESS!! 🙂
ROCKIN’ IT! good for you! my husband started bootcamp 2 1/2 years ago as “something to do” but is now addicted! don’t worry about the pounds as much as the inches. i feel those are more important. he’s complaining about hitting a certain weight (not that he’s big) but i ask him if he still fits in his “skinny pants” and he still does. it’s all about the inches!
Wowza! You look incredible!!!!! Go, you!
Awesome – wow very impressive! you look great!
Wow! You inspire me so much!
I was thinking this morning of going to boot camp (it’s a pay as you go) once a week to add that to my regime as I have hit a plateau. Reading this I have made the decision to start again!
10 pounds loss is my GOAL. Then I’m done and just want to maintain.
I want to get down as much as I can before my July birthday – another goal…
YOU LOOK AMAZING! Well done!
