I recently got some great haircare advice. An experienced stylist told me that it really doesn’t matter what shampoo and conditioner you use, save your money for the products.
I appreciate this advice especially at this time of year. No matter whether your hair is long or short, straight or curly, there’s an awful lot of product necessary during summer months to keep it straight, give it beach waves, eliminate the frizz or tame the fly-aways.
So when it comes to the shampoo aisle, I’m apt to buy whatever’s inexpensive and comes in a nice bottle.
This summer I’ll be using Just Bee Naturals’ Bee Refreshed Line. It’s a line of haircare products derived from natural ingredients and it’s paraben free and phosphate free, which makes me feel better about using it at the cottage.
The product line comes in two fresh scents; Calypso Coconut and Spakling Pomegranate. The scents are fresh and light, and have been accepted by all members of the family (nice to not have to pack one for boys and one for girls).
I’ve been using the shampoo for weeks and I’m really happy with the results. What makes me happiest? I’ve been using the shampoo for weeks and have barely made a dent in the package! The (recyclable) packages hold 700mL of product, so will easily last all summer long.
Bee Natural shampoo and conditioner are available for $6.99 each at Loblaws stores across Canada.
In the interest of full disclosure, Trend Watch is written by me; all opinions are my own. It is not sponsored. Sometimes I am given free products to review and sometimes I purchase the products all on my own. I was given a free sample of the Bee Natural products, but I was not compensated for my review.
