I wrote last week about what shoes I’ll be wearing for back to school style, this week it’s my kids’ turn. Recently I was hosted at a family friendly event to introduce this Fall’s lineup of Reebok RealFlex, Zig Tech and ZigLite shoes for kids, and I was wowed by the innovation and the style.
These are Reebok’s RealFlex shoes, launched last year, and with expanded colour offerings this Fall. These shoes are lightweight and provide the protection of a traditional athletic shoe with a nod to the “barefoot running” trend by emphasizing the foot’s natural flexibility. My sons loves how light and comfortable they are; I love how stylish and eye-catching they are!
The ZigLite Runners won my daughter over. She’s recently decided that she’s a tomboy, but she’s still keen to show off her love for all things purple. This brand new collection is streamlined and ultra-lightweight, with the original ZigTech sole that she’s coveted on her brothers’ shoes in the past, in a lighter and sleeker material. These shoes have barely left her feet since she got them, and she’s convinced they’ll have her running faster, jumping higher and competing harder. Go girl!
Reebok’s kids’ footwear collection starts at size 4 for toddlers, and takes them all the way through grade school up to size 7 (which I can just squeeeeeeze into!) I love that they’ve incorporated the same funky colours and styles that we adults love, while taking into consideration the younger demographic’s practical needs (velcro closures, lighter weight). Prices range from $64.99 to $84.99 and they can be found at Sport Check, Foot Locker, Sports Experts and Reebok stores across Canada.
This post is not sponsored, nor have I been compensated. Reebok offered each of my kids a pair of shoes for review purposes, but truthfully all three of them have worn Reebok shoes that I’ve purchased myself before, too!
