Yes – Maury Povich has not yet been brought in to run the DNA test but a young California woman is claiming that her three month old son is in fact the spawn of the Biebs.
The math. Justin would have been 16. Not unheard of in the least. She would have been 19. Which would in fact make her in the wrong in this case in the eyes of the law….so either she has a really really smart lawyer who knows how to get her child support but NOT brought up on rape charges or her lawyer is really really dumb.
Regardless, its sad all around.
Sad for sure – but not shocking – true or not true – baby daddy or not baby daddy. I’m bothered. I’ll get up for a minute on my soapbox here and tell you what I find shocking. How can the press, the public and his MOTHER not be a little more outraged over the pictures of him with his girlfriend Selena Gomez. Listen, I’m no prude but I can tell you when Will is 17, rockstar or not a rockstar, he won’t be vacationing alone in Hawaii and grabbing his girlfriends ass. He won’t be at a hockey game cupping her boobs for the cameras. I wasn’t allowed to spend the night with a boyfriend until I was 30. A bit extreme – perhaps I’m no worse the wear for it. The fact that no one seems to be in the least bit put off by these pictures – actually most news agencies are joking about them. These are kids in effect. 17 and 19 years old. I’m sorry – it bothers me.

It definately bothers me … Two teens groping each other in public is not something I want to see or that I wan tmy 6 year old to see at our local arena or on TV? My son likes the Biebs and he isn’t the worst role model out there but with his recent actions he certianly isn’t the best either. Granted he is a teenager and he (they) are young and stupid and immature and don’t care about the results of their actions but where are the adults in their lives that should be letting them know that that sort of thing as innocent as it might be has results that they might not be very proud of especially since so far neither have had that sort of reputation. I agree with other posters about the lack of respect. How do I teach my child about respect and the right way to treat women especially, but people in general when he sees someone he idolizes and looks up to behaving so poorly. I’m not sure that as a teen I would have listened to an adult telling me my actions were wrong but nor did I have millions of kids looking up to me. Being a celebrity and all the $$$ comes with a responsibility to set a good example and the knowledge that their actions influence others.

There’s a very big reason those pictures are out there. It also directly relates to why he could never be that baby’s father. Everyone has an image and for wahtever reason (read album sales) that’s his way of protecting it.
i feel badly for selena…19 and 17…at that age you you have treat the difference in dog years. a 19 year old is worlds more mature than a 17 year old (even the Biebs!). in a few months she will be mortified seeing those pictures…especially if she’s asked to babysit the baby-bieb…
but to address the article…i agree completely… but it has to be hard to ground the golden goose, especially a teenager…i’m guessing he cops some pretty serious attitude towards his parents when he wants to (i know i would have been insufferable at that age if i was raking in millions)
I see what you’re saying – totally agree. I just wonder where are his parents and handlers are (and hers) to cool it off. But I do stand by my thing of ‘they are too young to be going away on vacation together’. Fool around all you want but that’s just giving open door policy…
I agree with both Christine and Alice. There’s nothing wrong with the behaviour per se, just not in public. Not for famous people and not for regular people. No one needs (or I assume wants) to see that. But I also agree that there is a respect thing – groping someone in public is putting them on display, whether they want to be or not. And that is disrespectful.
Does it bother me that two teens are groping each other? No. He’s young and stupid and immature, and doesn’t care that he looks like an ass. It bothers me a little bit that she is fine with him groping her like a piece of meat in public and hasn’t asked him to be a little more respectful, since so far that’s not been her public image, but then it’s a hard line to walk between that sounding like it’s her responsibility to say no and her requiring that he act like a gentleman and treat her better than that, isn’t it?
The ass grab in Hawaii and the boob grab at the jets game was a little creepy. It bothered me seeing their cute little baby faces all giggly as he had 2 handfuls of her boob…
I’m no prude, but keep that stuff private…especially when you know that cameras are EVERYWHERE.
