So, basically, here’s the story behind this dress. Two people were wearing this dress at BlogHer ’10. Casey wore it in beige and Regan wore it in the navy that you see here. I coveted. I may have even drooled.
And then Regan said…”HEy, you know, the dress is totally on sale right now and it’s, like, $50!”
And if you’ve ever been to Anthropologie and if you’ve ever bought a dress from there, you know that $50 is a steal and a half.
So guess where I went on Monday afternoon?
JUST GUESS.
Dress: little yellow button (anthropologie)
PS. please ignore the toilet in the background. And the book that I am in the middle of reading. I haven’t gotten a full-length mirror yet, so this’ll have to do…

Darn you Ali. I saw this post and thought that was the perfect dress to wear to my nieces christening next week (Im the godmother and figure that deserves a new outfit). I headed to Anthropologie today and described the dress, only to find out it was sold out everywhere. Urbanmoms are obviously shopping in droves. I settled for a much less inexpensive (but oh-so-adorable) teacup print dress.

I saw this dress on Casey and it looks amazing on you!
I love it, but I am not so sure that the horizontal stripes would do good things for me and my child birthing hips.
So think of me when you wear it.

Very cute!
I think I will do a “suburban closet” and show off all my Joe Fresh, George and Cherokee clothes!! Haha!

You’ve got the angle for a self-portrait with “our” new camera down! I need to work on that.
Also, I can’t believe I didn’t go to Anthropologie while I was in New York. Sniff.
