Woo-hoo! Award announcements are always exciting, and this is a biggie in Canadian literature for kids. With last week also being Canadian Children’s Book Week, it’s a terrific time to be highlighting lots of good, homegrown stuff.

I’ve been making a big deal of the Blue Spruce and Silver Birch nominees around here, so now let me share all the results with you, direct from the website of the Ontario Library Association’s Forest of Reading programme:
