wow. i really don’t even know what to say about last night’s American Idol.
so many things were wrong with last night. Coldplay? really? Michael Jackson? really? also..roughneck #2, you are not getting through. the top 12 only has one spot for a roughneck and Sarver is already through. and the song choice? if you could only see? my god. PEOPLE: THIS IS IDOL 101. PICK THE RIGHT SONG. it’s not that hard. it’s just not that hard.
i mean, to me, as i sit and watch the elimination episode (that is WAY too long. an hour? really?), it’s obvious that Allison, Megan and Adam are through to the top 12.
Allison Iraheta in? CHECK.
also, can we talk about Norman Gentle for a moment?
seriously…i’m SO over him shtick. it was funny the first time. maybe even funny a little bit in hollywood, but this is a bloody singing competition. he should be winning emmys, not grammys.

I so agree with everything! I have 2 weeks worth of Idol on the PVR (was doing some reading and am VERY behind with LOST, 24 and Idol). I am seriously contemplating dumping all un-watched Idols and not tuning in. Just no urge this season… Sounds like I’m not missing too much if I go that route!

I know! Where IS Jamar?! Why did he not make it?? That shocked me. Only Allison and Adam were any good and I just find Adam so phony. He has an awesome voice but come on. I actually had to cover my eyes when he was thrusting and bumping to “Satisfaction”. Ew.
I do really like Megan and hope she is a wild card. Plus, I want to see Anoop back. Just ’cause.
