if you haven’t heard of MamaTulip, you should head on over to her site, right now. who am i kidding…who hasn’t heard of MamaTulip? Well, she wants to play reporter…and who am i to say no to her?? so, i am allowing her to interview me with 5 questions.
1. If you could only watch re-runs of one show for the rest of your life, which show would you pick to watch?
hmm…this is really tough. Seinfeld is definitely up there. it NEVER gets old. I’d likely get sick of South Park after a while. and perhaps i’d say My-So-Called Life if it had more than one season. Facts of life? Growing Pains? I think i’m going to stick with my gut and say Seinfeld. and that’s my final answer.
2. What is your favorite Canadian band?
probably The New Pornographers. i’m totally digging them these days.
3. Besides getting married and having a family, tell us about a life-changing experience for you?
having Ms. Baker as an English teacher in 10th grade and yearbook advisor senior year. She was once an editor at Houghton Mifflin and opened my eyes to publishing as a career choice. i have been trying to track her down for years. i want to thank her. I am where i am today because of her. i thought she might like to know.
4. What did you want to be when you grew up? Are you doing it now?
i wanted to be a writer. YA. so…i’m pretty darn well close. I got really lucky. maybe someday i’ll write YA novels.
5. Do you have any tattoos? If yes, describe them. If no, would you ever get one?
no tattoos. would LOVE one. on my lower back. but i’ll never get it. too chicken and too afraid of my mother. also, i worry that it would be nice now, but super cheesy ten years from now.
i now challenge all of you to answer these in the comment section. pretty please 🙂

1. What not to wear .. this show is hilarious…
2. Blue Rodeo for band and Sarah Maclauglin as a singer.
3. I graduated university in Math and Statistics. I worked that first year in a button factory (ya .. nice, don’t ask!) .. anyway, a friend suggested I go back to technical college to get specific software training, I did, and that was the best advice I ever got, and put me on the road to my career. Funny .. university was great, but didn’t get me into my professsion .. just stepped me there..
4. Early in life a horse vet or a professional 3-day event rider, later in life (in my teens)a software engineer. I did alot 3-day eventing, but career-wise the software engineering won out (more money lol)
5. No tattoos. But did you ever watch that tatoo show on tlc, kindof cool! wouldn’t mind a small one also on my lower back, but I’m too chicken!

Oooh, number one. . . now that I think about it, it may be E! True Hollywood Story. Or (yikes) The Simple Life. Or the Soup. Really any trashy E! show that everyone pretends they hate or don’t watch, but secretly LOVE. Oh, or the Girls Next Door.
This looked easier than it is.

Okay, here are my answers. To my own questions. LOL!
1. I think it would have to be Jeopardy!
2. Probably Sloan.
