So, Old Navy has had this skirt, or an approximation thereof, on hand for a loooong time. I know this because I WORE (and loved) it when I was pregnant. With a fetus who is now three.
So, in fashion terms, I would say that, yes, this skirt has been around for a while. To me, it’s not hard to see why. It’s soft, flattering, goes with everything, and works (pre and post pregnancy!) for a lot of figures. It’s light, summery, comes in a TON of colors, and pairs as well with flip flops as it does with heels.
While I would ordinarily say “Run, Run, Run, Buy It Now,” I gotta say, I remember buying this skirt — which is now going for about $20 — for $10, and seeing it go for around that price at the end of every season. So, yes. TOTALLY DO go out and buy this skirt; just not quite yet!
I own two of those skirts – one in black and one in brown. I wear them all the time. When they go on sale I am going to stock up on actual colours.
Totally concur, this skirt is amazing. I have it in 3 colours and actually wore the navy during my labour (and I wear it *still*) If that doesn’t signal longevity, I don’t know what will
