I very rarely do much with my hair.
The last cut I got was so great that it looks good even if I let it air dry, which I do often because it takes me forever to blow dry. It is very likely the hairdryer that I have been using for years. I figured it time for a new one and I was going to ask for a a really good one for my birthday (not til summer).
I was watching the Marilyn Denis show last week and saw a segment on “Beauty Shortcuts” to help get you out the door faster. That’s when I saw it.
The Quick Style Paddle Brush from Goody
I was a little skeptical but thought I should try the $15 hairbrush before getting the $200 hair dryer.
The hairbrush is suppose to remove 30% of water from hair for quicker styling.
I first used it on Eva after her bath last Wednesday. She doesn’t like the hair dryer so her hair air dries after her bath and she often goes to bed with damp hair. Not anymore.
This thing works.
I could totally feel that her hair wasn’t as wet as usual after brushing.
Those pointy, wet ends that drip water down her pajama top were not there. Her hair felt lighter and drier after. It was completely dry by the time she got into bed.

The next morning I tried it on my hair and same thing. My hair wasn’t as saturated after brushing out the knots.

this is a serious thing? i’ll look for it, for sure. i have the same problem. way too thick hair and 1hour to blowdry.
OMG…I soooooo need this brush…I’ve reverted to my ‘summer blowdrying’ which means just blowdrying the bangs and leaving the rest too dry, cuz I get way tooooo hot spending the 45 minutes trying to dry my hair…gotta get me one !!! Thanks for sharing Christine !!
