I don’t have much…because everything is still a little bit up in the air.
It seems this is what we know right now…
Ledger was found naked and unconscious in his bed at his $23,000 a month apartment on Broome Street, SoHo, in Manhattan, by his housekeeper and a masseuse about 3:35pm local time, when they knocked on his bedroom door and got no reply. (he was not at Mary Kate Olsen’s apartment)
He was pronounced dead at 3:45pm and they will likely NOT know what the cause of death was until an autopsy is performed. There were prescription sleeping pills found close to the body (and not scattered all over the floor, as was first reported)…and it had been rumored that Heath had had some trouble sleeping recently. The police have ruled out foul play, but have not confirmed the rumor that he had been suffering from pneumonia.
Heath was a beautiful, beautiful man who had so much to give. He leaves behind a fantastic film career (including a buzz-worthy performance as the Joker in the upcoming new Batman movie, The Dark Knight)
and a gorgeous little girl, Matilda. His friends and family are urging fans not to believe the media. They are 100% sure that Heath’s death was not a suicide.

Heath’s mother lives in my suburb in Perth and my friend lives across the street from her. It has been pandemonium around here since yesterday – bastard TV crews (sorry)! That poor family found out their son was dead from the radio NEWS, grrrr. He was back in Perth over the holidays this time round. Last year, I used to see him, Michelle and Matlida at the local coffee shop over Christmas.
So horrible – his poor family and his poor little daughter. What a waste!!!
I feel so badly for him and all of the people who love him.
lives right around the corner from my sister, she said there was still huge commotion on Broome street when she came home from a movie at 10:30 last night.. I am so sad .. sad for his daughter especially .. he was WAY too young…
This is such devastating news. I cannot believe it! He was never a media hound or a hollywood stereotype so I want to believe his family when they say it was an accident. I feel awful for his daughter.

i am so upset about this news and even though he wasn’t my family he was an actor i admired and as a persons always seemed so kind and happy…and i pray that the suicide rumours are just that rumours….
