I’m not even sure how many kids were there. (18? 20? 22?) I was really late in getting my act together and getting the invitations out (really, really late. we’re not even going to talk about this). I’m not even sure what the place was called (giggles and jiggles? jiggles and giggles?). i forgot the cups (well, the husband forgot them). and the pop (but Mike was kind enough to bring us three bottles)
But despite these obvious flaws, Josh and everyone else (well, except for Emily, who couldn’t handle the fact that for once in her life, it wasn’t all about her.) had a great time. There was pizza and cake and a bouncing castle. and slides. and air hockey. what could be bad about that?
there are more pictures on my flickr, of course.

pizza? bouncing castle? air hockey? man, I wish that was MY birthday party! Joshie is so lucky!
(is it incredibly lame that i’m jealous of a 4-year-old’s birthday party? or does it just show how much of a kid at heart i am? i’m going to go with the latter, because it makes me feel better.)
