See that picture? Tomorrow, that’s where I’ll be. I leave for three days in the Okanagan Valley and I’m staying at the Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa. Three whole days of exploring this beautiful area, visiting vineyards and relaxing at the spa. I have never been to this part of the country but I have heard it is absolutely gorgeous. So, thanks to the folks at GM Canada for their invitation to the launch of their new 2010 Buick LaCrosse and Cadillac SRX, I will get a chance to explore this region and test drive these new vehicles while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
I am not especially knowledgeable about cars but, like most moms, I
know what I need. I am very interested in the new SRX because I
currently drive the 2005 and love it. People are often surprised to
learn that Cadillac makes a car that is family friendly but out of all
of the cars we have ever owned this one is by far our favourite. This
car has the feel of a luxury vehicle with beautiful leather interior,
huge sun roof, and all the bells and whistles but all of the practical
things too. There is a hatchback to a large storage area, cup holders
and storage pockets in the backseat, and, in our model, an optional 3rd
row of seating. I was disappointed to hear that the 2010 version does
not have this option so I will definitely be inquiring about that.

how fun! the spa looks fab, and i love driving new cars. i’m curious to hear about your experience with these cars. my family only ever drove GM cars when i was growing up and i have a soft spot for big American cars – though i know that stereotype is obviously outdated now!
Oooh you are soooo lucky to be able to go there. It looks wonderful. How on earth did you get to be a test driver? My hubby would really like that. Enjoy your self and don’t forget to relax.

I am greener than the grass in that photo of the resort. I love the Okanagan, and this is the PERFECT time to be going. Relax, drink lots of fine wine, tour a winery (sooooooo worth it!) and enjoy!
