Recently The Body Shop hosted media to an informative and sweet event to launch their new line HONEYMANIA.
I thought I knew what I was going to see and smell. I soon realized that this was something different.
HONEYMANIA doesn’t smell like the typical honey made products. It completely surprised me with it’s light and refreshing floral scent. That’s because the products, like the shower gel, is made with honey nectar that is collected by the hard working wild honey bees.
The Body Shop uses Community Fair Trade honey that comes from the Ethiopian Rainforest. The organic and hand-harvested honeycombs are carefully selected at the right time to be included in the products. I was also surprised to learn that it take about 100 hard working bees to collect enough for each bottle or jar of HONEYMANIA product.
I’ve been testing out the products for a couple months now and I’m lovin’ how luxurious my skin feels. The Body Scrub ($20) has been perfect for a gently exfoliant leaving a nice glow. The soap-free Shower Gel ($8) I’ve sneaked into my bath for a soothing soak. The luxurious Body Butter ($20) delivers 24 hours hydration and left me feeling soft (I found out that each pot of Body Butter contains honey made from the nectar of thousands of flowers!)
The HONEYMANIA bath and body products will also include lip balm ($6), soap ($4), EDT ($14), Bubble Bath Melt ($12). The complete line be available in-stores and online starting this October 7th. You’ll want to stock up for the fall and winter months to keep your skin nourished and soft!
