Summer is coming and with it come the big summer movies. As a mother of an almost four year old, we’re counting down to Madgascar 3, Europe’s Most Wanted. (for real)
And of course…for my princess lover…we’ll be first in line for Brave. I want my boy to know that princesses can have crazy, ridiculous hair…can’t they??
The adult in me loves the cheesy summer blockbuster. There’s something about an action adventure or big comedy and a massive pail of popcorn when it’s 100 degrees outside and you’re freezing in the movie theatre!
The trailers are starting to come out. A big one came out today – and I’m baffled. Please watch the new trailer for Rock of Ages.
I’m disturbed. Of all the actors in Hollywood…Tom Cruise as a rock god? Sorry. I’m out. Is it just me or does this just look terrible? Shame.
There is the standard Bond, Aliens, Superhero, Pirates, Vampires….all of those are coming back. So is Wes Andersen…along with Bill Murray – and I’m SO excited.
If you want to laugh really hard….google the trailer for Ted. I can’t put it on here – it’s a tad NSFW but Mark Walhberg rhyming off a list o names like you’ve never heard before is hilarious…trust me.
What flicks are you looking forward to this summer? We went and saw this little dude on the weekend….safe to say we were both in love. The kid next to us was screaming his head off. So what does my kid say in the most quiet part of the movie? ‘Mom – why was that baby crying – the movie is not even scary.’ (I hid). So if you haven’t seen it – don’t wait for the summer and go see the Lorax!

I’m sure Madagascar 3 and Brave will be on our agenda though.
