So, I’m expecting this to be pure cheesy “eye-candy” for the ladies and probably perfectly timed for Pride events in my home city as somewhere to cool-off (or not) during the next round of the anticipated heatwave.
The film is about Mike (Channing Tatum) who is a small business owner who leads a double life as stripper. He discovers the fringe benefits and of course the money. Matthew McConaughey also stars in the film as the club owner.
Sounds like a fun chick-flick.
But I’m curious to see if he can really dance (yeah, right)
No expectations of anything deep or sentimental here.
I did NOT just say that.

I’m going against the grain here, but I have to be honest – McConaughey doesn’t do it for me. The same way Clooney does nothing for me.

This kind of thing in reality does nothing for me (club scene, I mean) but every time I see Matthew McConaughey onscreen, I’m all, “Daaaaaaaamn… holy wow.” I just can’t help myself. 😉
