Ever have a moment when it feels like time is racing by….madly?
I just found out that Marcus, the delightful boy (see pic below), who melted my heart in About a Boy (my favourite Hugh Grant movie with a killer soundtrack by Badly Drawn Boy),
is actually this actor, Nicholas Hoult! He wowed me in A Single Man (Tom Ford’s gorgeous film starring Colin Firth), and I’m dying to see him again in X Men: First Class!
Word.
You should see About a boy – it’s such a sweet, smart movie, and Hugh Grant is at his most charming 🙂
I didn’t see About A Boy, so I don’t have memories a the little boy him to keep me back from saying that guy is a cutie!
how are you? on a beautiful day like this, i often picture myself on a patio in Montreal – probably on St. Laurent or st. Denis! Re Nicholas Hoult, he sure did grow up nice!
Oh mah gah, I KNOW!! The minute I saw those eyebrows on that handsome boy in A Single Man, I went, “Wait. Could it be that same kid?” And then I googled. And then I nearly fainted – the child grew up to be shockingly handsome, no? Wowza.
And holy crap, am I ever old… 😉
