For all of us who may have pursued the wrong person, the wrong career, the wrong promotion, the wrong lifestyle, the wrong degree, the wrong idea of happiness, the wrong marriage- this really spoke to me.
“We get to the top of the ladder and realize it is leaning against the wrong wall”
And it is that much work to climb back down, go over there and start climbing a ladder leaning against another wall.
But it is worth it.
Nancy I am enjoying your writing and just wanted to share with you on this subject of wrong choices. I have looked around from the top of my ladder and I reached for that next rung. I would not have even been able to take the step without what was under me. It is never to ‘nowhere’ because it is what got you to the wonderful place you are today.
