Is that the right term? I wonder. The corner has been rounded? How about the ass has been wiped??
Oh YES! The occasional potty poop has become full time! Finally, this weekend, the kid discovered that sitting on the throne is SO much more enjoyable than lying around with a load in your diaper.
I didn’t winhe Princess Margaret lottery BUT I feel like I won something better! Next up? Nighttime training…and I’ll get back to you soon on advice for that. But for now, I’m just gonna bask in the glow of our reduced green bin size and the end of buying wipes!
My next quandry….how long do we celebrate for? This kid is expecting a mini peanut butter cup for every dump. So I SWEAR…he’s rationing them. Squeezing a half out here…a half out there. I don’t want to end the bliss of the potty poop..so what do you suggest??
*thank you someecards for making my life.

congrats! i like tracey’s idea of letting him know the bag is almost finished so there’s no surprises…and hopefully there’s no surprises 🙂 when we used nickels we started “forgetting” as well and that eventually stopped.

lol..I don’t think I rewarded mine with anything but with lots of fan fare. It was like a party went off in the bathroom. Whatever works right?

Yippee!!
We still use the flushable wipes too. The thing with the treats just sort of went away for us. We would “forget” here and there and eventually, they were gone. Or, we would say we had “run out of them and we would double up the next time” or “mama forgot to buy some more”. Mia just moved on. Now we have to work on her wiping her own butt. That’s our new issue. But congrats on making it to the toilet. It really does “just happen” as everyone said it would.
Good luck.

Wooooooot!! Yay, Wil!! And yay for you, mama…
We’re still using flushable wipes though – just so you know. And as for the treats, I’d just let him know when you’re nearing the end of the bag, and tell him he’s such a big boy, and we don’t get chocolates for every trip to the can. Maybe after the next bag of minis… good luck!!
