If Only…

May 30, 2013 by Amanda 2 Comments

We got the dreaded letter from the school this week, the one that warns about a child in my daughter’s classroom having been hit with a case of headlice.

Gah.
I wish that the above were mandatory for kids: vintage swim caps! Wear them all day long to keep the lice away! So Spring 2013.
Anyone with me?

Drag! I dread getting that letter too! We just received one warning as well. I’m on high alert and keeping an eye for anything. Itchy just thinking about it!

I remember THAT letter! I’m glad there were no further issues, but it is reassuring that our school will keep kids home, whereas the regular public system in BC has deemed Head Lice ‘safe’ because they do not spread disease. I can’t imagine having to deal with what some parents I know have had to – having to repeatedly treat their child(ren), and household, because someone else’s parent couldn’t be bothered,
