Even though we flew to Florida I would definitely call the last week a road trip. We stayed in three different resorts in three different locations so a lot of our time was spent traveling from place to place. Therefore, at least some of our time was spent in and out of the car. We are all now up on the Top 40 hits and I have played 20 questions more times than I care to count. But, overall, the road tripping was a success.
After our stay in Daytona Beach we moved on to the Jacksonville Beach area to One Ocean Resort and Spa for a little relaxation. At One Ocean tranquility and luxury are the name of the game. With amazing little touches this place is a slice of heaven. The kids loved the fact that the treats and mini bar were actually included! Another fabulous service is the personal docent available to every guest. Having your own personal concierge and local resource at your finger tips makes things like a a much needed corkscrew or dinner recommendations and reservations a simple process. The property, including the spectacular beach, were a peaceful treat and the full service spa a dream. One Ocean is obviously making great efforts to appeal to all members of the family. Take a look at the pictures below!
My girl collecting seashells on the beach. Her fave pastime.
