My kids lovingly tell me I’m “weird”. My daughter actually said in total seriousness the other day, “Mom, we’re just a regular family…except you.” I LOVE it! I totally embrace my inner (and obviously outer) weirdo and celebrate my freaky side. Luckily, for now, my kids are on board. And for the last week my sister (Kath of Losing It) and my nieces have been on board with it too. In fact, we are all a bit on the weird side which makes for a fun and unpredictable vacation.
One of the big faves with the kids this visit (and every other one for that matter) is “poo” humour. Just the word results in fits of laughter with which not even the best comedian can compete. My kids downloaded an app for my iPhone called Stool Scanner. Press your thumb on the scanner to find out what type of movement you will have on your next visit to the toilet. Can you imagine the hours of entertainment and giggles?
And then upon our rainy visit to Wasaga Beach we encountered this:
