We’re back home and settling back into the routine of camp, soccer, swimming and lounging. Here are some pics and highlights from our recent trip out west:
My niece in Calgary is only 5 weeks older to the Baby; these two little munchkins had lots of fun climbing, crawling, and dismantling the condo!
The Euro-Slide is one of the rides we enjoyed at the Calgary Stampede: I was the loudest person coming down the slide. Really scary.
The Boy had a pony ride at the Brittania Stampede Breakfast (unlimited free pancakes and beef sausages for any one who shows up – the line up was huge and the pancakes were unbelievable.)
We attended a beautiful wedding in Canmore, nestled in the Rocky Mountains. The lovely couple exchanged their vows under a cedar gazebo COVERED in jasmine, orchids and lilies. Against the backdrop of snow-covered peaks, with an intoxicating perfume of tropical flowers: It was breathtaking.
Here’s my husband and I at the wedding! In Canmore, every turn presents stunning mountain vistas. The air is unbelievably clear and pure – we slept incredibly well, including my Baby, who slept a record-breaking 14 hours (in a hotel crib?!).
