We were choosing a pumpkin at our favourite local pumpkin/produce/flower guy, Flower John, when a large sign stopped me in my tracks.
Years ago when john came up with this idea he felt it was a service he could offer his time strapped clientele. For me, when I saw the sign I felt, as I often do, a little sad that every joy and every simple activity and pleasure can now be brokered out. Isn’t a sign of success that you still have enough time?
He had no idea he and his team would be carving up over 250 pumpkins every Halloween.
and making guest appearances on radio shows (apparently radio hosts think it is a little outrageous too)
