A post about the weather!?! How boring, you may say. Not for me. I must take a few lines to proclaim my happiness about the heat. I just came in from watering my plants and I’m content. This is the weather I’ve been waiting months for. Steamy, thick air. Burning, hot sun. I love everything about it. I feel invigorated and energized by the warmth and humidity. The feeling of the sun on my face fills me with joy and excitement.
Eating ice cream, swimming, running through the sprinkler….all of the above have had a heightened appeal this past week. What are you doing to embrace the heat?
I prefer to stay cool, myself! 28 and sunny is about perfect for me…any hotter and I start to wilt. Mind you, we’ve had temps in the teens lately here in Calgary, and that’s a bit crazy for August!
