Being Invisible

November 22, 2012 by Tracey

There’s a lot going on around our house these days… I feel like I’m constantly on the go for unusual errands lately, and I’m running an awful lot. It’s okay though.

My extra-long leather gloves, oversized sunglasses, jaunty handbag and gigantic earphones sitting on the table await me.

One part Hepburn. One part hepcat.
I’m just gonna walk around, and git ‘er all done. But I’ll do it with earphones on, so I can try to be invisible and try not to get sucked into a chatty vortex again today (as nice as it was a few days ago) so I can just barrel through. Some days, everything feels so raw and it makes a person so tired…it will feel like this for a while, I know.
It’s like armour, only prettier.
And cool as hell.
(At least there’s that.)
