A Letter to My Baby

October 22, 2010 by jenbshaw

Scary Ultrasound Picture

Dearest Little Girl,

Mama doesn’t mean to sound harsh but the fact is you are on notice. Your behavior lately leaves something to be desired. I know that space is a little cramped right now but you are just going to have to settle down because I can’t do anything about it. No amount of begging has convinced my doctor that you are most certainly ready to come out NOW. I also unfortunately cannot grow another 4-5 inches of torso space.

Also, I know that it startles you when I cough but that is absolutely NO REASON to punch at whatever happens to be in front of you. I understand that experiencing what must feel like earth tremors every 5-10 minutes is upsetting but trust me it’s no picnic for me either. I simply ask you to refrain from punching my bladder and/or headbutting my incredibly tender pelvic area.

Again, I don’t mean to be harsh with you but we only have 26 days left so let’s try to keep things civil shall we.

Love Mama

**If you think that picture is scary, go here to see the video. No seriously go watch it.

I know right, baby yawns are supposed to be cute. I’m a little frightened about just what I’m growing in there.

OMG! The video! If I didn’t know better I would think it was a horror movie. I am sure she is much more beautiful than the 3D ultrasound indicates (turns around and crosses all fingers and toes).
Love the letter. Hope she reads it 😉
