Probably 6 years ago a group of pals at 3.5 years of age came into my old art studio for their first class.
They did a class a week every single term for the next 6 years
Really, do the math. I feel like some of these families should get a wall/ window/area in the new studio named after them.
Their families have been very appreciative, extremely supportive and wonderful in every way with me and my business.
At the end of last term, they expressed an interest in doing something more than what we would do in a regular class.
We created a 6 week term (instead of a 14 week term) where the 4 of them could work on larger, more detailed projects in my home studio.
I named this semi private class Artists Wanting More.
I have seen these girls grow up. I feel like I have provided a special place for them.
I love when someone comes to me in my work with an idea and I can say ‘yes’.
And I can feel really proud of how it goes.

I so wish I was a tad bit closer and could send my son to your classes. He would flourish, I am sure of it!
That is so awesome! You are so talented Nancy. You know just what is needed to get the raw natural talent out of these great artists! Isn’t amazing to see children grow (that are not yours) right in front of your eyes and know that you have made a difference in their lives? Amazing.
