That’s a wrap.

I folded and took the boys for their back to school hair cuts today.
For me, this signifies the end of summer.
The end of stinky, sweaty hair that’s greasy from sunscreen and messy from hats.
The end of being in a friend’s pool all day as an excuse to not shower.
The end of being outside with friends long after the streetlights have come on.
The end of staying up too late and sleeping in late.
The end of the easiest lunches being eaten on the front porch.

The end of being outside for 12 hours a day as we prepare to send them into the confines of their classrooms.

I stand by my last post. I could still use another week or two at home with them.
