No Child For Sale

In the wee hours of Monday morning, I’ll be hopping on a plane bound for El Salvador. I’ll be tagging along with a photographer and a team from World Vision Canada to learn and write about child labour and World Vision’s No Child For Sale campaign. This is an incredible opportunity, and though the realities of child labour are devastating, I am looking forward to listening and learning, and to sharing the stories of the children and families I meet with you.

You can follow my blog for posts during and after the trip. I’m also hoping to find time to post photos and tweet along the way; if you’d like to keep up with me on Twitter, I’m @emvandee. You should also probably follow @WorldVisionCan. To join the conversation, the hashtag is #nochildforsale. If you have questions, tweet me or @urbanmomsca and I’ll try to find the answers.

Talk to you soon!
