We are at the point in our renovation where things seem to be moving really slowly. We are all tired of the whole thing and we just want it done. The last 10% of any renovation is the toughest.
The kitchen. So close yet…
With all the little details left to be done, with people in your space for the last 6 months and with the portable stove as your only kitchen appliance things start to get pretty stressful.
Yup. This is our kitchen for now.
Even my kids can no longer be convinced that sleeping on a mattress on the floor is more adventure than inconvenience.
Having friends over looks a little different these days.
However, when I look back at the pictures from before or even from a few months ago I am amazed. This doesn’t even look like the same house and I have to remind myself of that. We have come so far! Just a few more weeks.
We’re getting there!
