I have many talented friends, including one who can put both legs behind her head while she is sitting. One in particular has an extraordinary way of making things around her beautiful- and I mean extraordinary. She takes sheer joy in everything she does.
Every year she has a coffee morning with all her girlfriends. I was the first one at her door at 8:29 and because I had a full day ahead – could only stay until 9 but could not miss the sights and smells and goodies that are my friend Annie
She does not take it too seriously- she takes it passionately. She has a sense of humour about it
Then, just because I live a charmed life, I get to go to her house for dinner every December for our BOOK CLUB dinner. For a whole night of Anne-ness. She spoils us rotten.

I felt very choked up by all the effort and love and thought. No matter how old I get NONE of these things is ever wasted on me.
