“Within the past week a child in your child’s class has been found to have Pediculosis (head lice). It is advisable that you continue to inspect your child’s hair daily.”
This is how I will be sending Eva to school until further notice.
Two out of my three kids came home with that notice yesterday.

Have you received the “head lice” notice from school yet?
Have I made you itchy yet?

Not so far this year – but not the qualifiers in that sentence! Twice last year omg. Have pointed out to Girl 8 that we better start putting hair in ponytails at the least because none of us want that again.

it didn’t take long to get the notices…it was like the first week of school!

YUCK! ITCH! ITCH!! We too received that notice & now I’m freaking out everytime she scratches her head! I’m hoping that because my Missy’s hair is always in braids or twists, we will get through unscathed. Fingers, toes, eyes, ears & etc crossed! Hope no one else has to go through it! YUCK! ITCH!

Got our first notice yesterday! I’ll need to see what I can do with Marley’s baby thin hair that ALWAYS falls out. I really can’t deal with lice – the bed sheets, the couch, the stuffs…YIKES!

Well, you know we had to shave the boy’s head three weeks ago. Again.
And indeed, Madame is sporting the very same bun these days (but with springy curls at the end) in an effort to avoid this frickin-frackin plague. May you remain unscathed, sweet Christine! It’s such a bitch, I can’t even.
