Last night we had dinner with friends, in their lovely and inviting house… it was our “last supper” of sorts, since we weren’t sure if the world was to end or not. (As if.)
So I opted for some sparkle – more that I normally might for a dinner party, but the invitation was for 8:30 PM, and anyway, it was “just us”. Come as you are – be how you like.
I like sparkle.
And how apt it was that the gold sequined number 8 could stand in as an infinity sign. End of the world… NOT the end of the world… whatever. It was fun!
I like fun.
I also like tight jeans, pointy shoes, and chunky black knit shawls wrapped around my neck. I didn’t bother with a purse… our event was across the street, and I didn’t need anything that couldn’t fit in mah pockets.
