Did you notice? After 35 years Mark’s has officially dropped the “Work Wearhouse” from its name. The NEW Mark’s has partnered with Canadian Celebrity stylist Brad Goreski recently to introduced consumers in Ontario to experience the change.
Mark’s has also put renewed focus on their fashion and style with emphasis on women’s clothing and footwear. Their teams are taking inspiration from the latest fashion trends and interpreting them to what the clientele wants – quality, style, and comfort.
To celebrate, cutie-patootie Brad Goreski shared his top Mark’s picks for the season at a recent press event. “As a young boy growing up in Port Perry I remember going to Mark’s with my father where he would purchase clothing for work,” said Goreski. “In seeing what the company is doing, and where they are headed, I’m thrilled to be part of the exciting change.”
And for those who rely on Mark’s for the industrial workwear, fear not! “Our roots are in industrial workwear, and we are number one in that category so we will never abandon those consumers or their needs, but the opportunity to evolve and grow our business was so strong we couldn’t ignore it,” said Harry Taylor, Mark’s new Chief Operating Officer. “This was a natural next step in our goal of being an even bigger player in the Canadian retail industry.”
