Have you seen inside my purse? I’m almost embarrassed to show you but my friend Chantel gave me one of those “hey, um, girlfriend, where’s the kitchen sink?” looks as she laughs. But then I see hers and it’s just as jammed packed!
I LOVE handbags. I mean really LOVE them. My friend Tracey (style maven over at the Urban Closet) and I both agree that we can get away with cheating on clothes but we both have a love for nice quality shoes and purses.
It’s Fashion Week so plenty of runway shows and rushing around in between homework and parties sandwiched between other events. My purse is BIG (See the pic? This is NOT staged) and it’s stuffed with my necessities to get through the day. As I head out the door in my big ass bag is my standard event night necessities, wallet, two phones, snacks, extra pair of flat shoes, Sbux card, chargers,camera, Moleskine journal, hand sanitizer, Tums Refreshers, Band-Aid Blister Stick, my Naked Juice, lipstick, hairspray, gum, etc.
Now, finding the sh!t I need in my purse is always fun. Who can relate? I’m running at night time it’s dark and my purse is deep.

What am I always losing in my purse, those darn car and house keys. I’m always losing my pen, so whenever I get a good one, I stick it in my purse. On one trip a few years back, security scanned my purse and I must have had half a dozen pens in there.

I’m always lossing my tube of lip balm. I have an open pocket that I stick the tube in but with this and that the tube falls out and I have to go fishing for it when I need it.

I use lip balm all the time, all year long. I actually use the entire tube! But I can never find it in my purse.

My keys and sunglasses are always getting lost in my bag. It is the same as socks in the laundry- they just disappear.
I usually have difficulty find my wallet inside my handbag as its the same colour as the inside of my bag.. and I have to keep searching for it. I love the idea of this handbag.. simply perfect.

Like most people, it’s my KEYS! Even though I have a separate zippered key pocket in my bag. I have four sets of keys: house keys, work keys, car key with clicker and an extra key which I’m not really sure what it’s for, but I can’t just throw it out, can I? I always seem to find the set of keys I DON’T want in front of a particular lock.
As my over-40 eyes continue to change, bright light becomes more and more important. This is a truly BRILLIANT (literally!) idea.

Like probably 90% of us, it is my keys. I have returned to stores and restaurants so many times, thinking I must have left them there, only to finally find them when I empty out the person entirely.

My keys and my reading glasses, I don’t need my glasses to drive but I do need them to read labels, coupons, flyers, menus etc etc and always have to dig to find them.

My purse doubles up as a snack bag and whatever I need for work bag!! The most times I keep digging for are the keys for work or home, lip balm, and anything and everything of that same size of such. A light inside my purse would be wonderful since I have to do all the searching mostly by touch since my purse/bag is too deep and filled with too much to see things in there clearly.

I can never keep myself organized with my purse. I have gone from a small purse to a large purse and then a medium sized purse. It doesn’t seem to make a difference on the size of purse that I use. I can’t seem to find that perfect spot for my keys and I am always looking for those. I decided to throw everything from my purse into a shopping basket…half the time I can’t find the bag…I need a purse locator…has anyone invented one of those yet? TYVM
Everything in my purse is lost the moment it drops into the abyss… until I fish it out frantically. Nobody makes a purse that light can get into and there are never enough appropriately placed and sized pockets – and the zippers always break or the elastic gives out, argh. They always make the outside pretty and the inside impossible – kinda like how most cars still are, And what cars have purse placces?!!! Very few.

I am always losing my purse because my toddler and my husband always through all of their junk in my purse on top of all of my junk! The handles on my purse have broken off and the one side is tied on to the metal loop and the other side I sewn on but that is coming loose.
