The famous iconic world traveller is now the fifth official spokesperson for one of the world’s most famous cities! As part of a year long collaboration, Waldo aims to highlight the best ways for families to discover, experience and enjoy the many neighbourhoods, cultural institutions, parks, attractions and hotels across the five boroughs.
Waldo will guide visitors to family-friendly summer destinations including Hudson River Skatepark on Pier 62, the City’s 14 miles of beaches, the Friedsam Memorial Carousel in Central Park, Pesso’s Homemade Italian Ices in Queens, Best Pizza in Brooklyn the Audubon Centre in Prospect Park, The Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge and many more great spots! Over 40 family-friendly and summer-themed hotel offers are also available. Such incentives include free picnics in the park, special gift bags, free breakfasts and more. Offers are available through to Labour Day on the nycgo.com/waldo website.
