Jennifer Lopez has confrimed today that she is following in Steven Tyler’s coattails and leaving “American Idol”. Calling into Ryan Seacrest’s radio talk-show today Lopez said:
“The time has come for me to get back to the things that I do…We had an amazing run.”
Hmm…does this mean we have more JLo movies to look forward to? Her last couple of movies (“The Backup Plan” and “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”) were poorly received by critics and lukewarm at the box office, so let’s see what parts she lands next.
And I’m sure we’re all exhausted of the talk about the TomKat divorce this week, but JLo recently spoke up about the break-up of her friends. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she said:
“I heard about it when I was in South America and I was stunned. I’m sad for them. They’re both really lovely people, and just like Marc and I, it’s not what you want to happen. You fight and you try until you realize you can’t anymore.”
Well, looks like she’s far from fighting with her boyfriend – Casper Smart. The two are on tour together and also make time for some R&R. Today he posted this photo on Twitter saying he’s teaching JLo wake-boarding.

Yeah, I got queasy too! But also cause I think it’s just a teensy bit weird that he calls her “Bear”. Somehow, I just don’t find this very flattering 🙂
i will miss her make-up and her outfits. that pic posted by caspar, however, makes me slightly nauseous.
