Well it’s Grammy weekend. I have to say for a show that a few years ago I wrote off – mostly because some of their crazy nominees – it’s now the awards show that I look the most forward to.
The last few years, they’ve really upped their performances. They bring together interesting artists to perform together – and expose some artists to the masses who may have otherwise not been heard (hello Avett Brothers – one of my faves but many hadn’t heard of them until last year).
And let’s face it – if the Grammy history has anything to do with it….the red carpet will be hilarious to watch again this year. Will you be watching?

As far as performances go?
This one is my FAVOURITE! Eminem starts rapping Stan (which I do a mean version of…) and then Elton John joined him.
And what about Pink? I’m not a massive fan. I think she’s amazing, but it’s just not my kind of music. But this performance. Are you kidding me???
And last year – let’s say my hippy loving mind was essentially blown. How are there only 350k views on this…but be me at midnight 325,000 times…
And this year?? Coldplay and Rihanna. The Beach Boys with Ok! Go! and Maroon 5 (there are hints that Mick could show up to move like Jagger). Adele is opening the show and Glen Campbell, who is suffering from Alzheimers, will be given a lifetime achievement award. God if he sings Rhinestone Cowboy I might lose my mind!
