At every art camp we have one movie night. It is the only silent time of the whole week. We try to find a movie everyone can love, hasn’t seen, has no issues, no stuff there parents would not approve of- not an easy task.
We chose a PG, but still a little head popped up in the silence and shouted “What’s a birgin, Nancy ?”
Silence.
I am in charge of the art. I left that one alone.

That is priceless! As a fellow teacher, I have to say that those are the kinds of stories that I share over snorting laughs in the faculty room…my motto is that it is not what you teach, but who you are that matters to your students…sounds like the Wasp upper lip came in handy that time!
Thanks for the laugh. I was so engrossed with reading your blogs that I took a too-big sip of too-hot coffee and had to execute a spectacular splashy launch over my I-phone….too bad my short-people missed that one!
